A journey towards Sampoorn Swachhata
Shri Arun Baroka, Additional Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation in this video talks about the contribution of the nation in building the world’s largest sanitation revolution and focuses on the importance of moving towards ‘Sampoorn Swachhata’ with a special focus on sustaining the good practices and ensuring effective waste management.
Launched in April 2016, this is an initiative under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Swachhata Pakhwada is inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi's vision to engage all Union Ministries and Departments in Swachhata-related activities, thereby making Swachhata "everyone's business".
