48,277 CSCs completed/in progress under GKRA
As many as 48,277 Community Sanitary Complexes (CSCs) are nearing completion under Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan (GKRA), a 125-day campaign launched by the Prime Minister of India on 20th June, 2020 to address the issues of returnee migrant workers and similarly affected rural population by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Launched in April 2016, this is an initiative under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Swachhata Pakhwada is inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi's vision to engage all Union Ministries and Departments in Swachhata-related activities, thereby making Swachhata "everyone's business".
